You’ll need: Your phone or device, a private space to work (album, folder, note, or whatever feels right), intention.
Timing: New moon to open for drawing in. Full moon to open for release. Any time for urgent work – the moon accommodates.

So a spell jar is basically a container you build with intention. You put things in it that represent what you’re calling in or pushing out, and it holds that energy while the working does its thing. This is that. Just… on your phone.

Create a private space on your device. A locked album, a password-protected note, a folder nobody else opens. This is your jar. Treat it like one.

Before you add anything, hold your device for a moment. State your intention out loud or in your head. Something simple and true: what is this jar for?

Now fill it. Screenshots of words that match your intention. Colors. Images. Symbols you’ve made or found. A photo of the moon the night you opened it. Anything that belongs to this working. Nothing that doesn’t.

Close the folder. Set it aside. Come back to it on moon phases: open it, look at what’s in it, add something if it feels right, close it again. You’re feeding the jar the same way you’d tend a physical one.

When the working is complete – when what you called in has arrived, or what you released is gone – delete it. Not archive. Delete. That’s closing the jar.

Momentum Spell

Name out loud — to yourself, to the room, to no one in particular — one thing you’re growing this season. Not a wish. A commitment.

Then do one small action that serves it. Today. Not a plan for later, not a note to yourself. One thing: send the message, turn the soil, open the document, make the call.

Say when you’re done: “This is how it starts.”

That’s the spell. Momentum builds from first steps, not grand gestures.

The Networked Spell

Find a stone – any old rock, chip of brick or concrete will do. Hold it and think about what you’re tending this season.

Take it outside. Find something living — a tree, a patch of grass, a weed pushing through a sidewalk crack, a planter on a fire escape. Anything rooted.

Sit or stand near it for a few minutes. Not performing. Just present. Notice what it’s doing — budding, reaching, simply persisting. Let that be company.

Leave your stone nearby. You’ve made contact. The network knows you’re in it.

First Threshold

You’ll need a broom – any broom, doesn’t need to be ceremonial.

Start at the center of your space and sweep outward, toward the doors. Do the whole place if you have time, or just the rooms you live in most. You’re moving things out, not just tidying.

When you reach the front door, sweep the last of it across the threshold and out. Then stand in the doorway for a moment — inside and outside at once — and say:
“What wintered here and is finished, go.
What’s mine and still growing, stay.”

Leave the door open a minute if the air is warm enough. Let the season in.

Wolf Moon Pack Bond Charm

Wolves survive winter in packs. So do we. This charm reminds you who has your back when the cold gets heavy.

You’ll need:

Small pouch or cloth square with string
Rosemary (remembrance, loyalty)
Piece of your own hair
Something that represents your pack: photo, name written on paper, shared token, anything that makes you think of them

Instructions:

Sit somewhere quiet. Hold the pack token and think about the people who actually show up for you. Not everyone you know – just the ones who matter when things get hard.
Place the token in the pouch. Add rosemary and say: “These are my people. They know me. I know them.”
Add your hair and say: “I belong here. They hold me. I hold them.”
Tie it closed. Hold it in both hands and breathe with it for a few minutes. Feel the weight of connection, not obligation.

Carry this with you or keep it where you’ll see it daily. When winter isolation hits, hold it and remember: your pack is real.

Notes: This isn’t about making people show up for you. It’s about remembering who already does. The wolves you already run with.
